When the internal medium of the capacitor is partially broken down due to excessive voltage, the metallized film around the breakdown point will evaporate instantly, enabling the capacitor to restore normal insulation state without affecting the overall performance. It is equipped with a built-in explosion-proof device. When inner pressure rises to a dangerous level, the explosion-proof device will automatically open to release the pressure, preventing the capacitor from exploding and ensuring the safety of users. 

It works continuously in the system and has extremely high requirements for stability. The capacity is relatively small, generally in the range of 2μF to 60μF.
